Daniele Ravì

I am a reader at the University of Hertfordshire in the School of Physics, Engineering and Computer Science. My research focus is on developing novel AI frameworks to solve complex problems in healthcare, including early diagnosis of diseases such as cancer and Alzheimer's, guiding surgeons during surgical interventions, and developing smart sensors for patient monitoring. I have contributed to several research projects funded by the EU, EPSRC, Wellcome Trust, as well as industry and have published my work in top peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, white papers, and international conference proceedings. In 2021, I was awarded an Innovate UK grant to develop an automatic AI quality control system for clinical trial data. For more information, please visit my research blog.
